We utilise the CryoPen, a leading-edge device that is a liquid-nitrogen-powered pen-like applicator, commonly used for advanced treatments such as Lipo Sculpt Angiofibroma Removal with CryoPen. Here’s how the process works:
After an evaluation of the lesion, we can decide if it is a good candidate for treatment using CryoPen.
The handheld tip dispenses freezing gas (-80°C to -90 °C) over the growth and creates a small “ice ball” that obliterates templated tissue.
Your body will naturally remove the treated tissue, with surrounding healthy skin left untouched.
Aftercare is simple you’ll have mild redness and puffiness for a few days, and we give instructions on preventative care (i.e. no sun exposure, don’t mess with the area).
No incisions, stitches or sutures
Lower scarring and pigment changes
Typically one session (or very few) are needed.
As with Exact = least amount of damage to the peripheral skin

Q1. Is cryopen safe for the removel of angiofibroma?
Yes. The CryoPen system applies a tightly focused, ultra-cold jet of nitrous oxide to the lesions, therefore without affecting healthy skin. The risk of complications is extremely low. Cryopen is FDA-approved and safe.
Q2. Will the angiofibroma come back?
There is frequently no recurrence of the treated growth. But just like with any skin issue, prevention is not completely within your control keeping your skin healthy and steering clear of triggers will help.
Q3. Is the angiofibroma removal painful?
For most patients, discomfort is minimal the feeling of being chilled and a bit of pressure. You may experience some redness or swelling after the session, though this should dissipate quickly.
Q4. How many sittings are required for the angiofibroma removal?
Several lesions disappear after the first treatment. Some may require a follow-up. We will examine the size, depth and site of the lesion during your consultation and provide you with an individual quote.
Q5. What’s the aftercare like?
Very straightforward:
Other than this, do not scratch or pick the treated area.
Avoid the sun; use broad-spectrum SPF if outside.
Apply any heavy makeups or the creams just yet (we will inform you)
Do not drink, smoke or take blood thinners for 48 hours if able.
Q6. Is there going to be a scar or discolouration?
Perhaps one of the primary benefits of CryoPen removal is that it has a relatively low scarring risk, since no cutting occurs. You may experience some light pigmentation changes, though they generally go away eventually.
Q7. Is the angiofibroma excision possible to be performed in the face?
Absolutely. The CryoPen is perfect for sensitive areas such as the nose and cheeks, where angiofibroma growths typically develop due to high incidences of blood vessels in these areas.
Q8. Is this good for all skin types?
Yes the device is suitable for a wide variety of skin types. At the consultation we will assess your skin type, lesion nature and additional risk factors.
